Garbage!
acrylic paint on board. 11" x 14"
2011
Study of a garbage bag. The semi-transparent and reflective surface makes it the ideal material to study light behaviour on different planes. (It's also very affordable :P) Anyway, I had lots of fun and had some enlightening moments while painting. Awesome.

Secret Life of Objects
charcoal pencil on hot pressed watercolour paper. 18" x 24"
2008
One of the first projects I did in OCAD. The objective was to tell a story about objects on your desk. Back then, those ink bottles were new additions to my collection and I decided to illustrate them moving into their new "home". (They looked like little people to me with those hat-looking tops... shhhh don't ask me how...)
We were asked to experiment with interesting compositions and various drawing techniques. The composition wasn't as successful as I hoped, it was too solid and boring for the story. However, the contrasting style of crosshatching, line work and shading turned out quite nice.
